How to restore your dictionary to default

When running a spell check in JobOrder, you can add unrecognized words. But suppose you accidentally add a word that you want to remove. How do you undo it? The file that we need is located in one of these default folders:

Win XP:
C:\Documents and settings\username\Application Data\4D\persoxxx.dic

Windows 7:
C:\\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\4D

Mac OS:
Macintosh HD:Users:username:Library:Preferences:4D:persoxxx.dic

After you quit JobOrder, there will be a file in one of the locations above called persoXXXXX.dic, where the X's denote the dictionary's reference number.

Open this file in a text editor and remove the unwanted words. Note that if you remove all of the contents, you will have reverted back to your default dictionary.

Please let us know if this information is helpful to you.
